Tour of Pendle Fell Race. Hope everyone is ready for the race on the 20th. Please be aware there will be a one way system thru the Village Hall to collect your number and tee shirt. You enter thru the front door and exit thru the rear door and walk around the building to the front. Face masks and hand sanitiser will be available at the front door. Please wear the face masks in the hall, for the count at the start and also prior to starting. The prize giving will be outside the Village Hall at approx 3:15pm.
This is an AL race in “Winter” and you are required to carry the “FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit”. Which comprises: Waterproof whole body cover (with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves, map of the route, compass, whistle and emergency food. A map of the course will appear on the website in the next couple of days and will show the minor change in the position of CP1. It’s been moved to the stile, 50/60m to the right. I am hoping to open the new gate next to it on race day. Still trying to find out who has the key. The route from CP1 to 2 is, as always, optional.
